25K, born Lehlohonolo Molefe in 1994, raps from Atteridgeville — Pheli, in local shorthand — the Pretoria township that supplies his subject matter and his slang. His kasi trap is unhurried and detail-heavy, sliding between English and Setswana as it narrates street economics. 'Culture Vulture', released in 2017, catches fire in 2019, and its remix with Cassper Nyovest, AKA and Emtee wins Best Remix at the South African Hip Hop Awards.
Signed to Sony Music Entertainment Africa, he opens his album campaign in June 2021 with 'Pheli Makaveli (Intro)' and follows with the debut album Pheli Makaveli, made with producer Zoocci Coke Dope. The record draws five nominations at the 2021 South African Hip Hop Awards, including Album of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Best Male. His second album, Loyal to the Plug: The Life & Times of Don Kilogram, arrives in 2024.

Loyal To The Plug is 25K's flagship annual event in Pretoria, returning on Saturday 26 September 2026 from 15:00 at 012 Central in Helen Joseph Street. Tickets are on sale through Webtickets at R100 to R200; the supporting line-up had not been revealed at the time of the announcement.
