Bio

Dark Horse, also credited as Dark-Horse SA, is a Mpumalanga-born deep house and Afro house producer and DJ who has been active in South African dance music since 2013. Beyond the studio he runs Somnyama Sunsets, an event series showcasing South African dance acts. His August 2026 album Flora Ntlemo is named after his late grandmother, whom he credits with shaping his values, and stands as a tribute to her. The album carries 'Vinny's Meditation', which has charted on South African platforms, where his music has placed as high as seventh in Viranova's verified chart tracking.
