Bio

Sha Sha, born Charmaine Shamiso Mapimbiro in Mutare, Zimbabwe, is the vocalist fans have crowned the queen of amapiano. She broke through on DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small productions before her 2019 debut EP Blossom, carrying the hit "Tender Love", and in 2020 she became the first Zimbabwean artist to win a BET Award, taking Best New International Act. After her debut album I'm Alive (2022) and a two-year hiatus, she returned in 2024 with the Kelvin Momo collaboration "Ndawana" and the single "Eglasini", and has teased a new album for September 2026.
