Amapiano DJ and production duo
TxC are the Gqeberha-born DJ and production duo of Tarryn Reid and Clairise Hefke, childhood friends who played their first gig in Johannesburg in October 2019 and have grown into one of amapiano's most visible international acts. They performed at the 2022 FIFA World Cup festivities in Qatar, released debut EP A Fierce Piano in 2022, and broke through globally with 2024's Turn Off The Lights EP on US label LVRN. In June 2025 they won the BET Award for Best New International Act, and they now draw more than two million monthly listeners on Spotify.
TXC’s collaborations with Davido and their possible future work with Wizkid and Jorja Smith point to a different kind of global amapiano story: not South African artists waiting for validation, but international names entering a musical framework TXC already knows how to lead.
Kelvin Momo performs with his Jazz Cruise band on the Park Stage at the third edition of London's biggest amapiano festival, a two-arena event at Southwark Park running roughly 14:00 to 22:30.
Mörda is billed on the Park Stage at the third edition of London's Piano People In The Park, an all-day open-air amapiano festival running 14:00–22:30 at Southwark Park. Kelvin Momo & The Jazz Cruise headline; tickets went on general sale on 30 April 2026.
Mellow & Sleazy support TXC at Forum in Digbeth, doors 16:00, with CowBoii also on the bill. The show has been on sale three months and is now listed as sold out (tickets were from £18.36 on DICE).
DBN Gogo appears on the South African / Piano District section of the Afro Plus Fest line-up. The festival runs 4-6 September 2026 at Northwest Stadium; her set is listed for the Saturday.
