Bio

TxC are the Gqeberha-born DJ and production duo of Tarryn Reid and Clairise Hefke, childhood friends who played their first gig in Johannesburg in October 2019 and have grown into one of amapiano's most visible international acts. They performed at the 2022 FIFA World Cup festivities in Qatar, released debut EP A Fierce Piano in 2022, and broke through globally with 2024's Turn Off The Lights EP on US label LVRN. In June 2025 they won the BET Award for Best New International Act, and they now draw more than two million monthly listeners on Spotify.
