Winter Hotel is a South African Afrikaans music project that grew out of the collaboration between singer Bernice West and Droomsindroom on 'Toelaat'. Its debut single 'Heuning' introduces a deliberately nostalgic blend of music, story and imagery: staging developed with theatre director Jannes Erasmus, costumes by Chantelle Schnetler Design, and a stated ambition to one day seat audiences in a theatre and let them inhabit the project's world for an hour. 'Heuning' has charted on South African platforms, and a second 2026 single, 'A Grave for Hope', extends the catalogue.
