Zandile Nxumalo is born in Eswatini in 2003 and raised in Alexandra, Johannesburg, releasing her debut EP KwaNxumalo in June 2022 at nineteen. She sings amapiano and 3-step with an afro-pop instinct for melody, a clear, agile voice that quickly makes her one of the scene's most sought-after features.
