Viranova respects intellectual property, copyright, trademarks, image rights, performer rights, contributor rights, and other rights connected to stories, images, videos, logos, music, documents, and submitted material.

Anyone submitting material to Viranova confirms that they either own the material, have permission to submit it, or are lawfully providing it for editorial review, correction, commentary, public-interest reporting, or platform communication.

Viranova may edit, crop, resize, caption, archive, decline, or remove submitted material where needed for editorial quality, rights management, safety, source verification, or legal compliance.

Submitted images, posters, press assets, logos, artist photos, videos, documents, music links, and campaign materials must be rights-cleared or supplied by someone authorised to provide them.

Submitting material does not transfer ownership of the original material to Viranova, but it allows Viranova to store, review, format, display, publish, archive, or remove the material as needed for the relevant submission, story, correction, campaign, or enquiry workflow.

If you believe content on Viranova infringes your rights, contact corrections@viranova.co.za with the URL, a clear description of the rights concern, ownership or authority details, and any supporting documents.

Viranova may investigate and, where appropriate, correct credit, update attribution, remove material, restrict access, or add context while preserving editorial records and audit trails where required.

Press kits, event posters, artist images, brand logos, and sponsor assets should only be supplied by people authorised to share them for publication or campaign review.

Rights concerns should be specific. Include the page URL, the disputed material, your relationship to the material, and the action you are requesting so the editorial team can review it efficiently.
