DBN Gogo is an amapiano DJ and producer whose stage name honours her birthplace. Born Mandisa Radebe in Durban on 28 May 1993 and raised in Pretoria, she sang in school choirs, studied law at the University of Pretoria, and turned to DJing before a Channel O Lockdown House Party set in April 2020 introduced her to a national audience. 'Khuza Gogo' (2021) went platinum in South Africa and 'Funk 55' reached five-times platinum. She played Coachella in April 2022, hosted a Boiler Room session the same year, became the first South African artist featured in Spotify's global EQUAL programme in October 2021, and founded Zikode Records with Universal Music Group in 2022. Two of her features appear on the Grammy-nominated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, and her releases run from What's Real (2022) through Click Bait (2024) to The Godmother (2025).
