Mduduzi Ncube
Mduduzi Ncube is an afro-pop and afro-soul vocalist from Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal, whose guitar-led songs deal in plainspoken emotional storytelling. DJ Tira discovers him in 2019 and produces his first recordings, including the Berita duet 'Malokazi'; in 2020 he messages Big Zulu on Instagram and becomes the first artist signed to Inkabi Records, the label whose early identity he helps define. The Inkabi years yield 'Isiginci' featuring Big Zulu and a run of collaborations, from 'Njalo' with Mafikizolo to Big Zulu's 'Inhlupheko'. In February 2026 he releases Buyel'ekhaya, a 14-track afro-soul album led by the single 'Imizwa Nje', and the following month he and the label confirm a mutual, amicable parting: his contract concluded, he plans to launch his own label and to work as both performer and executive.
