Bio

Nomfundo Moh, from Ndwedwe in rural KwaZulu-Natal, writes Afro-pop in Zulu that treats the language as an instrument in its own right. Active since 2016, she broke through in 2021 with 'Phakade Lami' featuring Ami Faku and Sha Sha — now certified six-times platinum — while 'Lilizela' went platinum the same year.

Her debut album Amagama (2022) was certified platinum and won Best Afro Pop Album at the South African Music Awards, and she signed with Universal Music South Africa as 'Soft Life' climbed to number three and triple-platinum status. Ugcobo (2023) and Twenty Four (2024) kept the pace, and in April 2026 she released her fourth album, Farm Julia — thirteen tracks, sung in Zulu, via Sound African Recordings and Sony Music Entertainment Africa — consolidating her place in the province's long vocal tradition.
