Bio

Vigro Deep, born Kamogelo Phetla in Atteridgeville, Pretoria, is one of amapiano's pioneering producers and DJs. Active since 2017, the son of Godfathers of Deep House co-founder DJ Spring broke through as a teenager with his Baby Boy mixtape series and the single "Black Power", signing to the storied Kalawa Jazmee label. His darker, bass-heavy take on the genre has earned gold certifications for "Blue Monday" and "Africa Rise" and a South African number one with "Wishi Wishi". Now touring across Africa, Europe, the UK and the United States, he returned in 2025 with his fifth studio album, Baby Boy V.
